Compression wraps are a new and effective way to treat lymphedema, swelling and leg ulcers. Many patients find donning velcro compression wraps is easier than traditional compression stockings. Wraps are available to treat the full leg - from foot to thigh - as well as arms and hands.
Compression wraps apply dynamic pressure to your limb. This means the garment only applies strong compression to your body when you're moving or your muscles are pushing against the wrap. A lower level of compression is applied when you are sitting or laying down. Customers find dynamic compression is more comfortable to wear when you are resting, and can be worn for loner periods of time (up to 24 hours for some garments).
Compression wraps are sold individually (one per purchase) and are usually used in conjunction with a liner.
